One of our own. At 113 years old, Mr James Emmanuel Sisnett, B.C.H., was the eldest member of the church, in the community and on the Island. Mr Sisnett was born on February 22, 1900. One of our own. At 113 years old, Mr James Emmanuel Sisnett, B.C.H., was the eldest member of the church, in the community and on the Island. Mr Sisnett was born on February 22, 1900. At the time of his death he was Barbados' only verified super-centenarian and one of two last men born in the 19th century in the World. He was the oldest man in the Western Hemisphere and the second oldest man in the World.
He was laid to rest on May 23, 2013.
